Almost ten years ago, I moved to New York to pursue an acting town. Ten years is roughly the time a friend suggested it might take to make some mark in the business.
I've hardly made a mark--no one stops me on the subway for an autograph--but in the last year:
- I had my first appearance on TV, in Celebrity Ghost Stories on the Bio Channel.
- I got my first paid voice over job, narration of the Tanakh for the Jewish Publication Society.
- I got my second paid voice over job doing the narration of a stair lift installation video.
- I had my second appearance on TV, a Burger King commercial on Spike TV.
- I've seen the New York debut of my first feature film, Pro-Black Sheep.
- I played the lead in my first indie (not student) film, Robert D. James.
- I've acted in a few student films.
